Terms of use

1. Introduction

These terms of use apply to the use of the chat service (the "Service") provided by us ("we", "us"). By creating an account and using the Service you accept the terms. If you do not accept the terms, you must not use the Service.

How we handle personal data is described in our separate privacy policy.

2. Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

You are responsible for the information you provide being correct, and for keeping your account and your device protected.

An account is personal and may not be transferred.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break Swedish law or the law of the country where you are located,
  • spread illegal content, for example material depicting sexual abuse of children, agitation against a national or ethnic group, or unlawful threats,
  • harass, threaten, stalk or extort others,
  • send spam, bulk messages or fraudulent messages,
  • spread malicious code or attempt to get into other people's accounts or our systems,
  • pass yourself off as someone else,
  • circumvent, decompile or tamper with the Service's security functions.

4. Content and liability

You own and are responsible for the content you send. Other users can report messages they have received; a report then sends the reported messages to us so that we can take action.

5. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account in the settings at any time.

We may suspend accounts that breach the terms temporarily or permanently, without prior warning in the case of serious breaches.

We may discontinue the Service. If we do, we will notify users at least 60 days in advance.

6. Availability and limitation of liability

The Service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee that it is always free from faults or uninterrupted.

We are not liable for indirect damage, lost data or lost profit, to the extent the law permits.

We are not liable for content that other users send to you.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer legislation.

7. Intellectual property rights

The Service, its code, design and trade marks belong to us. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive right to use the Service in accordance with these terms.

8. Paid services

If the Service offers paid features, the price and terms are stated at the time of purchase. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under distansavtalslagen (the Swedish Distance Contracts Act), except where you have expressly consented to the service beginning to be delivered immediately.

9. Changes to the terms

We may change the terms. Material changes are notified at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after that, you are deemed to have accepted the new terms.

10. Applicable law and disputes

Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by a general court in Sweden. As a consumer you can also turn to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN, the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes), www.arn.se.
